How Do We Protect Your Wax Melts in Hot Weather?
Every order is meticulously wrapped with protective materials such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and tissue paper to safeguard your wax melts during transit. In the event that temperatures are forecasted to reach 98°F or higher, TheCandleNurse LLC takes additional precautions by using thermal bubble wrap and including an ice pack to prevent melting.
How Much Does Shipping Cost?
Shipping costs are determined based on the total package weight and destination, with rates displayed at checkout. Base prices may vary by country. These rates represent the lowest options available to us as a small business and are based on current USPS and UPS rates, which are directly integrated from each carrier.
Free Shipping: Available on orders of $99 or more (after discounts) within the United States and U.S. Territories only.
Where Do You Ship To and Do You Ship Internationally?
Do you offer combined shipping?
Yes, we strive to combine shipping for multiple items whenever possible. However, due to the complexities of logistics, this may not always be feasible or lead to cost savings. Shipping refunds will only be issued if the savings exceed $4.50.
Please note that orders qualifying for free shipping will not be combined. If you wish to combine your orders, kindly email us with all relevant order numbers, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Care Instructions
What Are Wax Melts?
Wax melts are wickless candles designed to be melted in a wax warmer. When melted, they release aromatic scents into the air. Replace the wax when the scent fades.
How Do You Use Them?
Start with 0.5oz-1oz sized wax melt in your warmer. Adjust the amount based on the warmer size for optimal fragrance intensity. Cut larger wax pieces into smaller portions for extended use.
What is a Wax Warmer?
A wax warmer heats the wax to release fragrance. Choose from a variety of warmers such as hotplate, halogen bulb, or tealight models, available at major retailers and online.
Which Warmers Work Best?
For best results, use a 20-watt or higher hot plate, high watt halogen bulb, or tealight warmer. These provide sufficient heat to maximize fragrance release from our wax melts.

How Much Wax Should I Use?
Use 0.5oz-1oz sized wax melt in your warmer for optimal scent performance. For smaller warmers, cut wax into smaller pieces, as needed, to fit warmer.
Does Your Wax Need to Cure?
Our wax melts are ready to go 4 weeks after pour date listed on the label. Allowing them to cure longer can enhance fragrance strength over time.
Why does the fragrance seem different than I expected?
Please note that an individual's sense of smell and environmental factors such as room size, ventilation, and ambient temperature can influence how a fragrance is perceived. We strive to provide a consistent and high-quality scent experience, but these variables can cause variations in how our products are experienced.
We value your feedback and would love to hear about your experience. Please send us your detailed feedback at thecandlenurse@gmail.com. Include the amount of wax used, type of wax warmer, and some details about the environment you are using it in. Your input helps us continually improve our products.
How do I chop my wax?
- Remove the Wax from the metal container.
- Place it in a microwave-safe dish.
- Heat on medium power for 5-10 seconds at a time, checking frequently. Microwaves vary in power, so adjust heating time as needed and avoid overheating.
- Heat only until the wax is slightly softened, just enough to make chopping easier.
